Job Description

Group Product & Purchasing are on a significant and exciting transformational journey, where we aim to simplify and enhance how our Hotel Partners can work with us; continue to evolve and develop our technology solutions and create new efficient shared ways of work across our Central Product and Group Purchasing community.

As the Implementation Lead you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that we implement and embed these strategic and technological changes across all our stakeholders aligned to our single change and implementation roadmap, to ensure that all dependencies are managed, and those stakeholders impacted are taken through the different stages of transition successfully to achieve our business objectives. You will be responsible for all implementation activities, project managing their execution and creating robust and coherent change plans.

Whilst extremely rewarding, it will be a challenge to land the changes effectively, so strong stakeholder engagement is critical. You will need to build strong relationships with the business and your colleagues across our transformation teams, communication and HR to ensure successful implementation is achieved.

The role can be based in Spain, UK, Portugal, Greece and Germany.

What You will be doing:

As the Implementation Lead, you will be:

  • Accountable for ensuring that detailed implementation plans are available for user groups and impacted teams with key milestones and business activity clearly understood by coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive implementation approach is adopted and deadlines are met on time and within budget.

  • Co ordinating with user groups and impacted teams to ensure that they have the resource available to support the implementation plans and embed the changes.

  • Maintaining implementation risk and issues log and escalate to the Head of Transformational Strategy and Business Design when appropriate.

  • Work with impacted teams to ensure they have clear business readiness acceptance criteria, that all set up logistics are understood, and support is available from the point of implementation.

  • Responsible for the overall implementation training approach, plan, and delivery effectiveness in collaboration with other transformation and Business Process owners, overseeing the creation of engaging training material to ensure all learning outcomes are delivered to end users at the right time to embed the change.

  • Responsible for managing the overall communication approach, plan and stakeholder management, maintaining a robust stakeholder engagement plan ensuring that all communication to stakeholders is planned, well-coordinated throughout the implementation phase.

  • Responsible for facilitating successful change management by establishing a common change impact assessment and readiness approach which will be used across our stakeholders. The impact assessments will be key to enabling effective decisions on implementation plans ensuring that we are clear that our colleagues and Hotel Partners are ready and aware of the impacts of change and that we understand any significant challenges that need to be addressed.

  • Actively coach, support and provide continuous feedback across the transformation team and business as the change subject matter expert, to help grow the change network, document best practices and lessons learned to refine the implementation methodology for future projects.

  • Coordinate post go live support to ensure the users have ‘hyper care’ for a period and that any issues technology, training, or process are quickly understood and rectified.

  • Responsible alongside the Technology Product team for regular reviews of how the introduced change is performing and providing the expected benefits using management information and analytical insights.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience of leading and delivering successful international organisational change programmes.

  • Proven experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools. Change management certification (e.g. Prosci, CCMP) or designation desired.

  • Strong relationship and networking skills, able to effectively influence a wide range of stakeholders – has operated with or consulted to Board level.

  • An authentic, credible leader of people with gravitas and a passion to drive improvements in our business and to establish and maintain strong relationships.

  • An individual who is pragmatic and organised, quickly able to adapt to manage complexity and ambiguity.

  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle

  • Strong team player with the ability to challenge, provide leadership and effectively coach others.

  • Articulate, engaging, excellent active listening skills and inspiring communication skills in English, both written and verbal

  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences and influence others to move toward a common vision or goal.

  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills.

  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organisational issues and challenges.

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Power Automate, Viso and Miro

  • Minimum Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
