Job Description

As HR MI Analyst, you will be accountable for delivering high impactful Analytics and developing reporting which enables us to make informed decisions that actively support our Business & HR priorities.

You will maximise the effectiveness of our existing reporting platform (Resourcelink Reporting Services) and ensure that it is utilised optimally with a specific focus on the balance between centrally provided Analytics and ‘self-service’ reporting.

You will play a crucial part in not only ensuring the regular reporting is completed to support the day to day operation of the business, but also finding efficiencies in our data processes and developing new reporting to support both HR and the business areas that require reporting.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • You are responsible for delivering an effective, proactive, and efficient service to our internal customers and teams.
  • You will work closely with stakeholders (Heads of HR, HRBP, Finance, etc.) to identify key reporting and analysis requirements, ensure data integrity and provide effective HR MI Analytics which will support the delivery of the Business and HR Strategies.
  • You will work on a consultative basis with the Heads of HR and HR Business Partners to identify the people data requirements of the business and HR team e.g. talent metrics, stability and establishment (OD) planning.
  • You will increase the visibility and understanding of HR Analytics by identifying opportunities to improve and simplify reports & processes, deploying automation where possible and developing working practices that enhance technical capability within HR and ensure optimal use of HR MI within the HR community
  • You and the team will be responsible for identifying trends and observations from the completed analysis and facilitating conversations on these findings with the HR team.
  • You will ensure there are effective interfaces (data feeds) and data exchange between other HR, Business & third-party provider systems, e.g. SuccessFactors, Sharepoint, Finance, etc.
  • You will ensure all regular, ad-hoc, and regulatory reporting is completed within dictated time frames, e.g. Gender Pay Gap Reporting, Northern Ireland Monitoring Return, etc.
  • You will work closely with the HR Systems team and more widely across the global TUI Group to ensure employee data is accurate and can be effectively and safely transferred to different systems and providers.
  • You will work in conjunction with colleagues throughout the business to ensure the delivery of system and reporting platform upgrades.
  • The team will support key regular HR Activities e.g. Salary and Bonus Review, Talent Management, and other core processes within HR.
  • You will champion our responsibilities in the area of Data Protection to ensure other team requirements/expectations are understood to safeguard all employee sensitive date.

    ABOUT YOU

  • Knowledge and experience of query writing in SQL programming
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Excel & Access with advanced knowledge of excel formulae, SQL syntax, and Visual Basic
  • Ability to obtain and analyse a variety of large amounts of complex data
  • Strong desire to continuously improve systems, processes, and ways of working
  • High attention to detail, with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm and energy with a positive attitude
  • Able to challenge and manage conflicting deadlines/priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Experience of working within a project environment with evidence of effective planning skills, and the ability to understand and articulate the size and difficulty of a task and plan appropriately
  • Willingness and ability to quickly learn new tools and software
  • Previous experience of Resourcelink, Oracle SQL and/or other Business Intelligence tools (such as Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI, RRS, Jaspersoft) is desirable
  • Previous experience of Sharepoint and Microsoft Power Automate is desirable
