Overview

Microsoft is on a mission to reinvent productivity. The Banking leader oversees the sales teams managing Microsoft's relationships with Banking customers in the UK, driving digital transformation across one of the UK's largest industries.

Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Customer Obsession

  • Deliver growth through leading and empowering account teams. You will lead execution of Go to Market activities to deliver Banking customers’ business outcomes across their entire lifecycle
  • Accelerate customer satisfaction and model executive engagements with business decision makers and C-level executives, driving the industry-relevant technology conversation at a senior level with a high level of simplicity
  • Maximise share of wallet, achieve targets (billed revenue, consumption, and adoption), and win against competition through flawless execution.
  • Drive partnership across the organisation to achieve business value for customers and business results for Microsoft, creating accountability across teams
  • Deliver business excellence in forecasting and reporting, and foster a culture of strong accountability within your account teams
  • Proactively expand strategic network of key internal and external partners and other business decision makers for your team and customers to ensure execution of core tasks, grow sales and partner impact, and to ensure seamless account management experiences within the portfolio

People Management

  • Deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring of your team.
  • Develop, empower and transform your team to meet industry and customer needs by hiring, retaining, and developing talent.
  • Create a culture that will be a destination for people to work

Qualifications

This role requires someone who is highly motivated combining a prior sales or similar background with exceptional strategic thinking, superior executive communication skills, and excellent people management skills (down, across, and up.).

Experiences Required:

  • Proven track record in banking and financial services sales with a minimum of 10-15 years of experience
  • Strong leadership abilities with a passion for developing talents
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive innovation and adapt to changing market dynamics and new technologies
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Skilled at prioritization and marshalling resources towards achieving a common goal
  • A growth mindset of continuous learning rather than knowing
