Job Description

Every day, millions of people from over 190 countries trust us to handle their precious creative ideas.

Since making our name with quick & simple file-sharing, WeTransfer has evolved to help creators organize, share, and get feedback on their work – from inception right up to delivery. We showcase the best brands to more than 80 million users per month, and our editorial platform WePresent has championed unexpected stories of creativity from around the globe and features collaborations from world-famous artists, too.

Sounds like fun, right? Allow us to sweeten the deal: as a certified B Corporation, we do all of this while using business as a force for good, balancing people, the planet, and profit along the way.

In March 2020, WeTransfer was designated as a Certified B Corporation, confirming its ambition to strengthen its values-driven approach to responsible technology and business. As a certified B Corporation™, WeTransfer supports issues such as climate change by maintaining a climate-neutral status and aiming to reduce its carbon footprint by 30% by 2025. The company is also focused on promoting diversity and inclusion and championing employee mental health.

We are looking for a Senior Product Data Analyst to help accelerate the growth of Wetransfer’s Subscription business.

You’ll be part of a high-performing product analytics team, helping shape the analytics roadmap and collaborating with product teams across Amsterdam, Seattle and Los Angeles to drive organization-wide projects to improve our analytics capability to unlock a more data-centric approach to decision making.

You’ll be involved with everything from data source to presentations to the business on how to operationalize the insights. Be it fundamental design of the company’s data model, performing deep-dive analysis, conducting research to answer complex questions or supporting the team in developing their technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze problems and issues using data to provide insight to drive business performance.

  • Delivery of product experiments, model improvements, deep dives, and data requests and other ad-hoc analytics projects

  • Improving both technical and non-technical work processes, including improving cross-team communication and work processes

  • Measure the impact of existing and new product features on our key metrics through experimentation and post-launch analysis

  • Support strategic analytics initiatives to inform our product roadmap in your dedicated area

What are we looking for:

  • Using data to drive business impact

  • The ability to transform business questions into data requirements and data into business insights

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience from working with data analytics in a data-driven company

  • Experience working cross-functionally, using data to improve our understanding of our user base and to develop new products and features

  • Ability to perform analytics tasks, summarise these, and report findings

  • Experience with SQL, Python or R, statistics and data modeling

  • An experimental mindset, confidence in the power of experimenting/ testing, and having experience with running/analysing multiple experiments
