Join us as a key player in the expansion of the Wholesale Fixed business division at Virgin Media O2! We're building new capabilities to own the commercialisation of VMO2's fixed network assets with partners offering direct-to-consumer services (ISP's). This is an exciting opportunity to join us at the forefront of innovation as we develop new capabilities and craft the future of our team.

As a vital member of the team, your role will focus on developing sophisticated economic models. These models will play a meaningful role in making complex pricing and economic decisions across all fixed network B2B2C Products and Services. Working closely with the wider business, you'll be responsible for supporting key decisions on the strategy to improve the value of the fixed network, both holistically and across individual partner cases. With individual partner revenues exceeding £100 million annually, your contributions will have a significant impact on our success in the market. The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Strong advanced financial experience is essential
  • Experience of building complex economic return on capital investment models and what-if scenarios, including preparing and presenting cases.
  • An understanding of the Telecoms industry and its products is essential
  • Ideally, a high-level understanding of fixed network technologies such as DOCSIS and XGS-PON, able to communicate confidently across these topics. You are not expected to be a deep technical expert.
  • Proven track record to manage senior partners across a variety of functions and areas of expertise
  • Good communication and presentation skills for developing written documentation (Powerpoint), able to distil complex problems into easy to digest information

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with demonstrated experience using them in a business setting.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, capable of developing advanced business models.
  • Ability to effectively communicate proposals and their impact in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in understanding and interpreting data.
  • Skilled in documenting processes and policies with clarity.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and produce credible output by filling in gaps.
  • Capacity to comprehend systems and convey risks and opportunities in a straightforward manner.
  • Confidence in presenting complex technical solutions clearly to non-technical audiences.
