Product Finance Manager

Job Description

This role sits across both Commercial Finance and Financial Control.

The Commercial finance team is integral to the commercial success of giffgaff. We business partner the Commerce, Product and Marketing teams to ensure that all channels, products and propositions deliver the best value for giffgaff and its members. We provide financial planning & analysis to the business to show the performance of the Profit & Loss and objectives and key results, along with producing outlooks, forecasts and budgets to identify risks & opportunities

In the Financial Control space, the role will also be responsible for setting up the accounting ledgers for new products and for running the Month end process end to end and working with the VMO2 technical accounting team and external auditors.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
• Highly analytical
• Experience in Month End Accounting including reconciliations.
• Strong excel skills and willingness to learn how to manipulate complex spreadsheets as well as using tools such as SQL Server/Snowflake to perform data analysis.
• Experience of Business casing new propositions and initiatives
• Experience of forecasting & budgeting
