Job Description

Joining the Group Purchasing as Revenue Coordinator based in Thailand, you will be working to increase the business and the market share of the TUI Group across all its Source Markets by renegotiation of competitive late Rates, Board Supplements, positive availability changes in the TUI Group contracted Hotels.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Continuous monitoring and identification of renegotiation needs of Late Rates in the TUI Group contracted Hotels

  • Supporting the team and wider business with solution data input and data management

  • To maximize the Tour Operator’s sales and profitability through continuous improvement of competitive accommodation offers

  • To analyse booking, competitor, and market situation and to proactively contact suppliers and renegotiate competitive accommodation offers and secure maximum availability

  • To monitor and supervise actions taken by hotel partners within DESTIMO and give constant support

  • To build strong collaborative business supplier relationships and regular direct communication with our Hotel Partners

  • Help to ensure that both parties have a common vision and a shared set of goals to maximize business profit

  • Liaise closely with the TUI source markets to interpret local hotel occupancy information and to consolidate this at a Group level.

  • To build strong relationships with the Purchasing, Product and Trading department for the relevant source markets, to identify revenue opportunities and act as per trading needs

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience in commercial negotiations or contracting preferred

  • Experience of working within the hotel industry or a tour operator would be desirable

  • Strong commercial acumen and highly analytical thinking/numerical reasoning skills

  • Excellent negotiation, persuasion and feedback skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal – need to feel comfortable to challenge supplier decisions and have ability to find compromises with the aim to create win-win situations

  • Good time management and process orientated skills

  • A highly motivated, proactive team player with a positive and flexible can do attitude
