Join TUI BLUE & Hotel Concepts as Business Partner Controlling (Concept Cost), here you’ll play a vital role in supporting the financial and controlling functions, contributing to the success of the TUI BLUE brand. Your responsibilities will involve assisting in the development and improvement of financial reports and processes, as well as aiding in the establishment of standardized reporting systems. The key focus area of this position is cost controlling of the concept cost across the markets.

We are ideally looking for the successful candidate to be located anywhere in the UK or Germany however we are flexible to consider other locations within Europe. You must already have the right to live and work in your European home country before applying.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Assist in the development and enhancement of reporting mechanisms within TUI BLUE and the broader TUI Group, with a focus on monthly detailed analysis of the concept cost.
  • Preparation budget presentation and detailed analysis of performance to budget on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Analyse operational reports to identify opportunities for improvement in concept cost, utilizing data-driven insights to support decision-making.
  • Coordinate effectively with various international offices and affiliated companies, serving as a liaison for finance and controlling matters.
  • Maintain relations and communications with the Concept managers and source markets to ensure alignment on concept costs related topics.
  • Assist in optimizing and standardizing work processes to ensure operational efficiency in financial and controlling operations.
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks, conduct analyses, and prepare documentation for management review.

ABOUT YOU

  • Educational Background: Degree in business administration, economics, tourism management, or a related field. Prior experience in controlling and finance is advantageous.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Tableau or HFM/Oracle is desirable.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in written and spoken English. German would also be highly desirable.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong organizational skills, resilience in time-sensitive situations, a results-oriented approach, and meticulous work ethic. Exhibit a high level of commitment and a collaborative team spirit.
  • Willingness to Travel: Flexible and open to international travel as necessary.
