Job Description

The Role

The Programme Manager will use their skills of facilitation and project management to ensure that all our programmes run smoothly; on time, on budget and to production targets.

This role reports to Michelle Davies, VP Operations, with a key relationship with Senior Program Manager, along with important stakeholder relationships with team members throughout the company and occasionally external suppliers and agents.

Given the remote first nature of our team, this role can be based anywhere in Europe but you will need to be available to travel to the Holm based facility at least monthly.

Coordinate & facilitate programme teams

  • Ensure programme teams are run effectively; continuously improving team and meeting dynamics

  • Draft programme timelines and budgets

  • Implement and follow processes required for smooth running of the teams

  • Run & facilitate weekly programme team meetings

Removing bottlenecks & problem solving

  • Identify bottlenecks, escalate early & unblock, when needed

  • Make information available and summarise key points for team and management to prioritise & focus

  • Hold ad-hoc problem solving sessions between team members, if required to remove bottlenecks

Reporting & Analytics

  • Request and consolidate information, where required

  • Support team on key analytics, when required

  • Report critical information about status and bottlenecks (for escalation) to VP Ops and/or Senior Leadership Team

The Senior Program Manager has put in key processes and consistency across our several program teams. The Senior PM will continue to support process improvements, but this role will also be important in executing them consistently and ensuring their evolution as the business scales.

This role is a great opportunity for someone to learn from a Senior Program Manager and grow into that role over the coming year.

Who you are

  • Strong communicator and consensus builder, comfortable working with diverse stakeholders

  • Organisation is one of your superpowers, experience with Gantt chart development

  • Talented coach; challenging groups to move forward by discovering the core of the challenge and unblocking where needed

    • Understanding of or experience in agile coaching a plus, but not required

  • Confidence, backed up by talent, to find opportunities in ambiguous situations

  • Exceptional problem solving skills

  • Can quickly grasp timeline and interdependency in complex programme setting

  • Ideally have a technical background in paper or other materials-based packaging; this will help you understand the complexity of programs and engage with internal team much more easily

  • Fluency in English, as this is our working language

  • Fluency in German, a bonus, to speak with suppliers and external partners occasionally

  1. Introduction call with Senior Program Manager - to share more about one.five and how we work & find out how that meets your experience and expectations of the role

  2. Technical interview with VP Operations & Senior PM - to dig into the day to day of the role more and answer any questions you may have for us

  3. Meet the team interview with selection of Product & Business leaders - introduction to key stakeholders in the business and build your understanding of programme team current function

  4. Final, in-person interview with VP Operations (and GM BU or one of Co-Founders), in Holm - see our office and meet our team - can also be held virtually
