The Mars Snacking D30 programme is about digitising and simplifying the way Mars Snacking works, by developing seamless business processes, introducing standardisation, embracing digital automation whilst leveraging AI to predict our future possibilities. It aims to create a Mars Snacking future where work will be easier for our Associates, Customers and Suppliers.

As the Regional D30 Deployment Planning Lead, you will collaborate with Regional teams, Global D30 Mega Process teams, Global Experience Owners and D30 Leadership to shape the future of our business by identifying a roadmap to successful implementation of new processes, ways of working and capabilities.

What are we looking for?

  • The job holder acts with a high level of trust and independence to build the EU Deployment plan, but will need to collaborate with a high number of Stakeholders at global and regional level.

    These stakeholders will include EU senior leadership teams (including markets, clusters and functions), as well as Global D30 project teams.

  • The successful candidate for this position will have had the following experiences:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent, preferably in Supply Chain, Statistics/Data Analytics, or General Business.

  • Strong relevant business experience with strong project/programme management and design thinking skills, along with a proven track record of delivering results

  • Project Management and/or Process Improvement experience/certification, preferred.

  • Prior experience in global deployment/large scale transformation preferred.

  • Must be able to influence at all levels within the business in order to achieve objectives. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • This is a key project role within the Global D30 programme reporting to the EU Regional Champion

  • Accountable and responsible for project management of Regional D30 deployment, through expert management of quality, value and time.

  • Build a deployment roadmap, driving strategic options and decisions over sequencing, prioritisation, and value realisation for the EU region.

  • Partner with regional deployment resources to successfully implement and monitor project adoption or risks.

  • Collaborate with Global Mega Process deployment teams to define success criteria.

  • Own the Regional deployment status tracking and reporting (including risk management).

  • Strong collaboration with Global Mars Snacking D30 team, external consultant experts and Deployment Leads from other regions.

  • Capability to adopt and apply digital tools for planning and reporting.

  • Develop insights to challenge current and future proposed processes, responsibilities and organisation in order to make a step-change in our overall regional effectiveness.

  • Ideally based in PAD or willing to travel to PAD regularly to connect with D30 project Team. Occasional international travel for face-to-face design workshops.
