Job Description

The Role

The Bucharest Tech Hub is central to LucaNet’s exciting transformation to a cloud native SaaS platform. It was founded in 2023 to drive the evolution of our Corporate Performance Management product and cement our place as a leader in the industry. Our transformation roadmap is the blueprint to the success of the project and relies on the work of our German and Romanian teams.

Our Manual QA Engineers are embedded into the Scrum team; and are responsible for ensuring that are software products are of the highest quality. They design, develop and execute comprehensive test cases and plans to support LucaNet’s ongoing transformation to the new cloud platform.

This role is suited to ambitious QA Engineers who want to further develop their testing skills whilst helping us transform the future of of our business.

What does success look like?

  • Improve and enhance test processes currently in place and introducing new ideas
  • Integrating and deploying into the DevOps pipeline
  • Decrease overall testing time by working with the Senior Automation QA’s to help identify which features need to be automated

What you'll do

  • Plan, develop and execute testing plans and cases to ensure software quality
  • Identify, isolate, and document defects and issues in a clear and concise manner
  • Triage bugs in-line with strategic business aims
  • Analyse test results and provide clear feedback to development teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality assurance is integrated into all aspects of software development

What you bring to the table

QA Engineering experience

  • Demonstrable experience of setting up a test environment. You understand the different types of testing methods, and how to use them effectively in any project situation.
  • You have a clear understanding of what makes a 'good' test.
  • API testing using tools such as Postman or similar.
  • Any experience with CI tooling such as Jenkins is also beneficial.

Communication skills & attention to detail

  • In order to effectively work with our cross functional teams, its important you can get your point across and relay information confidently, clearly & concisely whether it be verbally or written (including documentation)

Ownership & testing fundamentals

  • End to end ownership of our Manual testing processes
